About me

I have over 25 years experience of supporting people in distress, and hold a Post-Graduate diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a member of the UKCP and British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Humanistic and integrative psychotherapy includes different psychotherapies. These approach the individual as a whole person including body, feelings, mind and spirit. The integrative therapeutic experience leads towards a greater tolerance of life’s experiences and an increase of creativity and service.

Although able to support people in any number of situations, I have particular experience in supporting those living with long-term health conditions or disability and those affected by acute or life-shortening illness, or living with depression.

I also have many years of experience of facilitating supportive groups either in reflective practice, peer support for people affected by particular conditions or for training purposes.
